North America has a long history of racism and racial injustice. The countless cases of police brutality and the Black Lives Matter movement have strongly affirmed that we're polarized as a society, and systemic racism exists.
The MuslimMoon is dedicated to making a lasting impact, and we are honoured to present the 'From the Eyes of X' collection, inspired by Malcolm X Shabazz's spiritual journey to the two holy mosques.
This collection of prayer mats features the Kaaba and Masjid Al-Nabawi from the 1960s. A gold 'X' reflects equality and enhances the overall monochromatic look. When laid together, both prayer mats impactfully conjoin to complete an 'X.'
- The first charity partnership is with The Pilgrimage Foundation Inc., which is helping to provide a better future for underprivileged children at The Malcolm X Shabazz High School. With special attention given to providing a STEM program, these children receive access to skills and education they otherwise
would not.
- The second charity partnership is with Black Men Heal, whose mission is to provide mental health treatment and counseling access to men of colour. Suicide is the third leading cause of death in black men ages 15-24 in America. Black Men Heal strives to reduce the stigma of mental health, match clients with providers, and eliminates associated costs that allows for greater access.

Pandemic-related lockdowns this past year have lit up domestic violence crisis lines all across North America as the stress of life in lockdown continues to put victims at risk. One organization facing this surge is Nisa Homes. Nisa Homes is a charitable organization that provides refuge and support services to women, children, and families experiencing homelessness and domestic and family violence, poverty, or seeking asylum.
The MuslimMoon aims to support Nisa Homes in empowering these families to rebuild their lives. One of our goals is to furnish a prayer corner in every Nisa Home location.
